Treemap Properties dialog: Style tab

Use this dialog to set the background colors for the legend and the borders for the groups and tiles in a treemap view. Additionally you can show or hide the treemap legend.

Components

Background

Use this section to select the background color and fill of the legend for the treemap.

Fill

Use this list to select the color of the legend fill.

Border

Use this list to select the color of the legend border.

Treemap Borders

Use this section to select the border colors of the groups and tiles for the treemap. There are two options:

Group — Use this list to select the border color of the group (header area).
Tile — Use this list to select the border color of the tile.

Labels

Use this section to show or hide the legend for the treemap view and to format the tile labels. There are two options:

Group — Click the Edit format button to display the "Edit Format dialog," in which you specify formatting for the text that displays as the group name.
Tile — Click the Edit format button to display the "Edit Format dialog," in which you specify formatting for the text that displays as the tile name.

Show

Use this check box to show or hide the Group or Tile label.

Note:

If you deselect the Show check box for Group, the border will not display. Additionally, no tooltip will display when the mouse is hovered over the Group label on the treemap view.
