Strategy pane

Use this pane to create and manage the objectives that form your corporate strategy

This pane is part of the "Scorecard editor."

Components

Strategy Tree

Displays the objectives that have been defined for the scorecard and the KPIs that measure their progress and performance hierarchically. It also shows the statuses of objectives and KPIs using the appropriate colors and symbols that you specified for assessment mappings. See "Defining Assessment Mappings for Scorecards" for additional information on assessment mappings.

Toolbar

This toolbar contains the following buttons:

• Create Objective — Use this button to display the "Scorecard editor: Objective Details tab," where you create an objective as a child of the selected objective.

• Open — Use this button to open the selected object for editing or viewing, depending on the current mode.

• Delete — Use this button to delete the selected object and all of its descendants (if any), if you have the appropriate permission.

• View Strategy Tree — Use this button to display the strategy tree for the selected object.

• View Cause & Effect Map — Use this button to display the cause & effect map for the selected object.

Right-Click Menu for an Object

Displays options for working with an object. See "Right-Click Menu for Objects in the Initiatives Pane and Strategy Pane" for additional information.
