Use a dashboard page to view and navigate a dashboard.
Note: Content designers can specify that the execution of dashboard pages be delayed. For those pages, the actual content of analyses is not loaded initially. Instead a message and static information about the objects that were not loaded are displayed. The message indicates that the page is not fully loaded and instructs you to select prompt values and click the Continue button. Clicking Continue reloads the content on the page using the prompt values you specify. If you do not specify prompt values, then default prompt values are used. |

Page Tabs
Use the tabs across the top of the viewer to select the dashboard page to view and navigate.
Toolbar
The toolbar contains the Page Options button, which displays the following options:
Edit Dashboard — Use this button to display the "Dashboard builder," where you modify the dashboard, if you have the appropriate permissions.
Permissions to modify dashboards (personal and shared) are granted by the administrator.

Print — Displays the print options that are available for a dashboard page. Possible options are:
Printable PDF — Use this option to print to PDF using a standard layout.
Printable HTML — Use this option to print to HTML using a standard layout.
One or more custom print layouts.
Using a custom print layout allows you to produce high-quality printed dashboard content. For information on custom print layouts, see "About Creating Custom Layouts for Printing and Exporting Dashboard Pages."

Export to Excel — Displays the export options that are available for a dashboard page. Possible options are:
Export Current Page — Use this option to export the current dashboard page to Microsoft Excel 2007+.
Export Entire Dashboard — Use this option to export the entire dashboard to Microsoft Excel 2007+.
One or more custom export layouts.
Using a custom export layout allows you to export dashboard content customized for Excel. For information on custom export layouts, see "About Creating Custom Layouts for Printing and Exporting Dashboard Pages."
When you export to Excel, the state of the dashboard (such as prompts or drills) is maintained.
When you export the entire dashboard, each page is included on its own sheet in the Excel workbook, and each sheet is given the name of its corresponding dashboard page.

Refresh — Use this option to refresh the results of analyses included in the dashboard page.
Add to Briefing Book — (This option is not available on an empty dashboard page or if the Show Add to Briefing Book box in the "Dashboard Properties dialog" has not been selected for the page.) Use this option to display the "Save Briefing Book Content dialog," where you add the contents of a dashboard page to a briefing book.

Create Bookmark Link — Use this option to create a bookmark link.
If drilling in an analysis that has been set to replace a dashboard with the new results (rather than show the new results directly in the dashboard), then the Create Bookmark Link is displayed as a link under the new results rather than as an option on the Page Options menu. (To specify how drilling works in an analysis, you use the Drill in Place option on the Properties menu for a section. For more information, see "Properties Buttons for Objects."

Create Prompted Link — Use this option to create a prompted link.

Apply Saved Customization — Use this option to apply a saved customization — either a personal saved customization or a shared saved customization.

Save Current Customization — Use this option to save your current customization.
Note: Values that you pin for KPI dimensions referenced in scorecards are not saved with this option. For more information on pinning values, see "What Are Dimensions and Pinned Dimension Values?" |
